2/27/10--I
had a very "cute" time this week watcing the babies eating their peas and carrots! They love to grab them right
off the spoon and stuff them in their mouths. They make great treats and are good to balance out their diets. Peas, carrots,
bananas, apples and cooked plain oatmeal are some of my ratties favorite treats/foods.
2/23/10---I
am happy to announce that a new dumbo rex baby girl will be added to the rattery soon! I can't wait until she is part of my
big rat family. Hopefully she will produce some beautiful babies when she grows up. She is the most adorable thing and I will
incorporate her into my blue line to hopefully achieve blue rex dumbos! I am excited to work with her and my blues as they
are just the best. I will keep everyone posted as new litters come.
2/14/10---I have many of the babies
from past litters available to go to their new homes. They are very sweet and would love to go home with you! Once these babies
are adopted I will plan a blue litter. So if you are looking for a rat or rats there are some available now.
1/28/10---I am very happy with
my new litters! All the babies are just great and really what I was hoping for. The patterns were spot on. I am looking forward
to finding great homes for the ratties. They are all so cute and adorable, you just want to give them a big hug! They are getting bigger
and I have recently moved the mom's and babies to a bigger cage with more room for the growing little ones.
1/21/10---I am very happy to say that Becca's litter of babies are
very adorable and doing great! These little ones were bred to show the lovely variegated pattern that mom carries, and
boy did they! I hope they all find good homes and if you are interested check out available litters to see their pictures
and adoption information!
1/16/010---
I am proud to announce that the girls of Star Rats Rattery are now enjoying a very large(it barley
fit through the door) Martins cage! I am in the process on decorating it with fun toys and hammocks. The only problem is Rosalinda
(who is 3 years old) would rather stay at the bottom(I don't blame her) and I have to put a hammock for her, so it minimizes
running room. But they still have a LOT of space. I am working on getting one for the boys. But until then, I put the
boys in the girls old cage because it is larger and still in good condition.
