Welcome to Star Rats Rattery! We are a small rattery located in Upland, California. We have been breeding quality pet rats since 2004. We have a love for rats and give them the best care possible. All of our rats are handled from a very young age, are kind, sweet, healthy, and make great pets. We breed dumbo and standard eared rats in a variety of colors and patterns. Right now we are focusing on our blue's and rexes in dumbo ear. We plan to incorporate harley into our blue line as well in the future.

• Our rats are fed the best food possible for them and are greatly cared for. We only use rat safe bedding, cages, and toys to insure they are safe. We do not breed females before 4 months age to insure their safety and the safety of her babies as well. Each litter is planned carefully and each litter is bred to achieve a certain goal.
• Please note that I do not ship at this time, please do not ask. If I find a way to safely ship my rats I will let you know.
• If you are a breeder please email me and include your goals as a breeder, pictures of your set up, website address, and any other rattery information. I will let you know if I have any breeders/future breeders available. Every rat could be a breeder, but I carefully pick rats with the best temperments and qualities to breed. It is very important to only breed well tempered quality rats that will carry on the lines good characteristics. (Don't get me wrong, they are all very sweet and adorable!)
• When you adopt a rat the love you get will stay with you for a lifetime. 

Rats are great pets and have been compared to dogs for a long time because of their high intelligence and companionship. Rats are a perfect substitute for someone who can not have a dog. They are clean intelligent creatures, who bring much happiness to their owners. They are relatively easy to care for and make good children's pets for responsible children.
